Street where the riches of ages are stowed
Thanks to my silly driving, and the car insurance company not giving us a courtesy car until tomorrow, we're car-less. We had to cancel our plans to meet up with a large group of friends and their babies in Warwickshire.
Rather than wallow we decided to embrace public transport and continue our nostalgia trip to west London. This time we got the train and the tube to Portobello road. I wanted to find some old signage letters for Charlie's name and for the alphabet set I'm (slowly) building up. We couldn't find any but I picked up two covers from a 1960's and 1970's issue of Le Micky (Mouse) magazine, which I love.
I don't know how Charlie did it but he fought the motion of Robin walking and stayed awake for almost the whole trip. He finally closed his eyes hours later as we were walking back to the tube.
The little man should be tired, he's been working those muscles and rolling both ways today! At least we think he did as we didn't actually see it! We were sat at the table having breakfast with Charlie playing on the rug. When I looked down he was on his back, the next minute he was on his front! He didn't repeat it so we'll just have to be patient for the next show.
