Halfway Home

I know I'm halfway home from work when I cycle all the way when I reach Burnlip Road. As with lots of street names, I'm intrigued by the name, and wonder how it came about.

The field next to it is looking very nice at the moment with all the buttercups, so this is my blip for today.
