Clematis in bloom in the rain...

Back at work today after a wonderful holiday. I am sorry for not commenting as I usually do... I look forward to catching up with all your great journals over the weekend..!
This clematis is in my garden, and this is the first year that it has burst into bloom... it replaced a Russian vine that died in the really bad frost the previous year. I was delighted to come back from Georgia and find it looking so pretty...!
