Rain all day. The heron didn't seem all that impressed by the weather either. He stayed in this spot for a long time, generally shoulders hunched. I think he must have sensed me because his neck extended and he seemed more alert.

Went back to the 100-400 today after months with the much lighter 70-300. However, this lens is noticeably brighter and sharper as well as having more reach. It's just so heavy.
