(288) Astral Traveller

We've left Liverpool after a very enjoyable three day stay and have driven south to Wales. Today's blip is a view of the sky from garden of the cottage we're staying in. The skies here are much darker than I'm used to back home and the Milky Way is clearly visible, clouds permitting. This photo is a 13 second exposure so the Milky Way is more prominent than is actually visible to the naked eye but, apart from some noise reduction and global level adjustments, there is no fancy processing or local adjustments applied to the image. If we get another clear night I might try a pano-stitch for a wider view.
