Drone Fly

After yesterdays adventure a steady day was planned . I did get a load of washing done and out on the line to hopefully dry , rather cool out despite the sunny conditions .
We caught up on all the interviews and pre and post match from the TV coverage of yesterdays final as i recorded it so we could hear what was said.
Early afternoon a walk to find a blip still rather cool but in the settled area along the Cycle tack nest to the river it was quite nice. A few insect around and dragonflies  including this insect. I thought it was a type of Bee but it turns out it is a type of hoverfly a Common Drone Fly .
Blips sorted back home to watch more Rugby League , the Championship final Toulouse v London where the winner would be back in super League next season replacing Wakefield who got relegated  this season . An enjoyable match which London came from behind to beat Toulouse against all the odds. It was then time to watch the Wheel Chair Rugby League grand final Wigan V Leeds , Leeds been the favourites but pleased to say Wigan took control and won the game .
Time now to enjoy a few beers to celebrate A fine Wigan double for the weekend seeing as no work tomorrow
