Up at 03.00 to get to Shannon , to Stansted to Danbury for dads 85th family gathering . We took the bus as my poor mum fell over last night and cracked her head open - glued up now and feeling shaky poor thing .
We arrived to find her in full food production , think the empty wine bottle is in the food and not mum ! She’s put so much effort in and was really organised , so when the call came in from my sister in law to share the crap news that all of them either had or possibly had covid we had to down scale plans … and drink wine to soften the blow ! Still had a lovely evening celebrating together . Forgot to take any pics !
