Finally

Received a call from the repair shop while at work. They told me the hard drive was ready to be picked up. Phew, at least all my important documents on there are safe!

We didn't know what the cost would be (probably something they should've told us before we gave them the hard drive) so we were bracing ourselves for a big hit. Fortunately it wasn't too bad! That's rare nowadays!

No updates about the laptop. Seems Monday may be when it arrives.
