Laika has come to stay for a couple of weeks so we decided to come here for lunch and a walk. They are very dog friendly. They have a dog agility course, which she simply wasn’t interested in, preferring to be let loose to smell everything she could. This lake is for outdoor sports, not swimming. I swim in the pool nearby. A great end to a day which started with water pouring from a leak in a pipe in the cellar. We had two lovely young guys who not only managed to find and repair the leak, but also replace the stopcock, which had managed to get jammed on. Luckily, many years ago we started a special policy that specifically covers everything to do with water in your home. So for just a minimal charge they will sort everything out. Very lucky.
