Progress

We made it out for a walk in the sunshine after lunch, but we were both unprepared for how cold it was! I put my head outside to check the temperature and came straight back in again to find our warm jackets, gloves and Smithers’ cashmere beanie hat. We only got as far as The Green and back, but it involves a bit of an uphill walk and it was quite far enough for the convalescent patient.

Back home for a welcome cup of tea and a slice (or two …) of lemon cake and a sit down. 

And now it feels good to be able to post a photo for once that wasn’t taken in either our house or garden!
