Lincoln Cathedral

Picked up No1 son to go up to Hull to see No2 son and go out for a family birthday celebration meal.

We stopped off at Lincoln for a spot of lunch. Parking was horrendous. Lots of people circulating the carparks to find a spot. We decided to drive a little distance away and park on a side road.

A 4 image pano with some significant cropping and treatment. Simply wasn't expecting to get anything from this. The distance between the gateway to the cathedral to the building itself doesn't lend itself to an image of the whole of the front of the cathedral. Obviously some distortion arises from the extreme angles involved.

It was a glorious sunny afternoon so the light was streaming through the stained glass windows.

We then stopped on the south side of the Humber Bridge for a view of the suspension bridge before we travelled over it.

Picked up No2 son and went out for a great meal in one of the many restaurants close to where he lives.
