On the beach

Feeling better. Covid test was negative,  which I expected as I'd no cough or cold symptoms. Phew.

A lovely sunny day with not a breath of wind so we drove down to Roosebeck beach. The tide has smoothed off all the sand up to the rocks and as usual we almost had the place to ourselves, just a couple of people,  with dogs of course. 
We took our time and walked as far as the rock pools. It was quite warm and as always a pleasant walk. We sat for a while just to enjoy the warmth.

Back home for  a while then over to Walney to meet Jenny who I havent seen since June. Nice to have a natter and chat. No walk this time as shes waiting for a knee op and cant walk far.  She is the 5th person I know that is waiting for an op.. all waiting longer than they should.
