Langdale Pikes

Beautiful day.  Wall to wall sunshine and blue skies - why wasn't it like this when No 2 son was here last week?

A drive into the lakes this morning and we visited Holehird Gardens - first time for a few months.  Quite busy there with people out enjoying the plants and gorgeous scenery.  This is the view looking towards the Langdale Pikes.

From here to Windermere Jetty for a bite to eat and then home.

Brilliant.
