That'd be the first snow of the year heading towards us!
Serious thought went into camp spot choice. Bog and peat hag territory lower down, 40mph wind higher up. Found a decent-ish spot and hid for a while for snacks and warming up. Quick stomp uphill to warm up and get a sunset view before tea with all the clothes on and heading out for some night nav. Out the wind, it was pretty lovely tbf. Stunningly clear and dark, milky way clearly visible. Thick frost on tents when we got back. First double roll mat night of the year for me so a snug 9 hrs sleep as the stags tried to out roar the wind and the feels like temp dropped to about -11.
