bah humbug

The Christmas lights are being put up in the High Street.

We stop to speak to a homeless man sitting by a shop doorway. He's been promised a place in a shelter, but for some reason it's been delayed.

We offer to get him some food, but he says he's OK because the shop has already given him something to eat.

He's thin and shivering so much he can hardly speak.  It's a bloody disgrace.
