Red admiral

I'm not sure I've ever photographed a butterfly at the mid point of autumn. There were quite a few in the garden today.

This morning I decided I was going to tidy two cupboards and two drawers, which somehow morphed into the whole kitchen being tidied. Jo had dropped Beau in while she went for her flu jab and as she "loves cleaning" she tackled the combi oven, and main oven and then went to get fish and chips. The fish is massive (well over 30 cm long) and both it and the chips were freshly fried. Lovely! We share a portion as it's more than enough. Then after lunch she cleaned the hob and we finished more cupboards.

Then I had some draft excluder for windows so I put that on her bedroom windows so she can move the bed and watch the TV.

Home to finish off a couple more cupboards and catching up now.
