The Kelpies

We left home early, stopped for coffee just beyond Wooler, and reached The Kelpies by lunchtime. Instead of flying by on the motorway as is our wont, we made time for a brisk walk around these marvellous sculptures before heading further north. We are now settled in a cosy cottage on the west coast, enjoying a glass of wine and looking forward to the week ahead. Hoping for some dry days!
