German Craft Skills

Today was the state competition of the German Craft Skills (DMH Deutsche Meisterschaft im Handwerk).
We have four Chambers of Crafts in our state, therefore 4 (some crafts only 3 or 2) competitors for each craft. It took place in Kaiserslautern this year. I wasn't on duty, but nosy enough to drive there in the late morning and stroll through all workshops, shaking a lot of hands and admiring our skilled youth.

Here we have the painters, they had almost finished their work task (only one more hour to go).

Very interesting day and a lot to look at.
