Piran

Took a bus round the coast to the town of Piran. Another holiday town a bit bigger than Izola where we are staying.
Venetian architecture, narrow roads and a grand square - nice little wander round. Quite a few visitors in town - I can’t imagine what this must be like in summer. Neighbours at our campsite (who are Slovenian), told us this is the best time to be down here on the coast -they come every year! We had quite a chat - a lovely lady who was very excited to find some Brit’s to practice her English on. She was certainly much better than me with my next-to-nil Slovenian.
