Saturday...

I was up early & out by about 7:15am today as it looked like it was going to be a beautiful start to the day. I was indeed - but cold & very windy. A walk around the res & then to OM in the hope of seeing more bearded tits, but in the sunshine rather than the gloom of last week. I heard them but didn't see them as it was so windy.

Hail & sleet on the way home over the tops & my blip is a lovely greenfinch. Strictly this eve but I can't help but feel it's just not a level playing field this year. Lots of 'good/dance trained' celebs this year. For those who have no training, it must be a bit soul destroying.

This argument comes up every year, but somehow it seems much more this year.
