Ringing

Allendale Town parish church held a Gift Day today. Scones, tea, coffee and displays were provided for people who decided to respond to the community-wide leaflet drop for Gift Day. It is held to raise funds for maintenance works which keep the church open for visitors and services. Part of the offer was a climb up to the ringing chamber to have a look and to go into the church to hear handbells being rung and to gave a go.
