It has been quite a few years since we connected.

Quite a few changes for Sarah, including her hair .  Sarah told the story of what has been a difficult year for her whilst I listened. I'd eaten my food and hers was barely touched.  It did mean that my stomach had made room for a pudding.

I had forgotten that her father was born the same month as mine.  He is now suffering from dementia and in care.  Two of her grandchildren are living with her at the moment.  

With a divorce going through, she has been thinking about what name she will use afterwards.  I told her one of the suggestions sounded rather exotic. When I read the previous blip and the reference to a career as a porn star it made me laugh.
