Christmas cactus

I've been some months for this plant to flower and now it has. I like the drooping shape of the flowers, hiding their faces. 
Busy day with opticians in the morning then curling at 2.30.  A group of Scottish lady curlers are off to Sweden in a couple of weeks and I was part of a group from Lanarkshire Ice Rink who were giving them some practice games today.  Later the grandchildren came over for their dinner and sleepover, but I had to leave them on their own for a while as I was coaching a group of new curlers from 8pm - 9pm.  The grandchildren are 17 and 15 so were fine on their own for the short time. 
I was glad that the plant had flowered, providing me with an emergency blip.
