Rain Filled Catpund

A fairly dull and rainy day, with the odd sunny spell from time to time.  A breeze most of the day, picking up at times.  

Day off and up early.  It took a bit of persuasion to get Sammy out this morning, the rain eased enough for a brisk walk.  Nipped down to Laura's for a cuppa before lunch.  Mam came by for lunch at 1pm.  Met friend Julie for walkies this afternoon, mostly dry until the last stretch home.  Working in the shop this evening, and a quiet night with the poor weather.  Off to bed early.  

After I left Laura's, I took Sammy for a brisk walk.  The ground was soaking from the torrential rain in the morning, but surprisingly the burns weren't bursting their banks, which I thought might be the case.  A full burn flowing down, and good waterfalls, but it could just about hold more.  Taken at the Burn of Catpund, Cunningsburgh.
