Raindrops on roses

This morning we went to Northwood to do some food shopping and for Alison and Peter to buy some strong cardboard boxes and bubble wrap to pack up some things they want to post back to Australia. (They already have a lot of luggage to take  with them tomorrow.)
This  afternoon, we went to the post office to dispatch the filled boxes, on our way to  visit our Aunty. She is  becoming weaker and slower, but is doing remarkably  well to still be living in her flat, with carers calling twice a day, and district nurses and a palliative  care nurse keeping an eye on her. It was a pleasant meeting but a difficult parting as we all know she and my sister won't see eachother again.
This  evening we had a Last Supper  in our Mother's house.

It has rained a lot today but I managed to find a nice rose to photograph in a neighbour's garden.
