Waiting for the bridge to arrive ...

... this was the scene today in Govan as I waited in vain for the Govan/Partick footbridge to sail up the Clyde. Evrything is in place but due to high winds it's progress has been halted down river at Greenock. The bridge was built in Belgium then moves to the Netherlands for assembly and has sailed on a barge to Greenock which is just down river from it's final destination. Hopefully it will arrive here in the next few days. I will return at some point during the week to see what has happened.
