Whoops

Although I did quite a bit today it was much more relaxed mentally than the last few days have been, even though not everything worked out.
I decided I really had to do something with the cooking apples as some were beginning to got bad where they'd been bruised (most were windfalls after previous strong winds).
Apple and walnut muffins went well and so did the apple pies - until I caught the tray taking them out of the oven and one landed on the floor. It was rescued but couldn't be frozen so was hald eaten for tea.
It was a bright and breezy day and after a morning in the kitchen I wanted some air and so did a short run in the park across the road. After lunch I planted some bulbs and tidied a veg bed that's now empty
Some knitting and admin this evening, though not much of the latter to do.
