View from work (Day 3077)

My day started with a trip to town to collect bits and change an outside tap, then down to Deerness to change a hot water cylinder.
It was supposed to be a fairly straightforward job, but after draining the old cylinder in preparation for removing it, I realised it was still attached to some pipework I couldn't access. I chopped the cylinder to bits to allow me to remove it and capped off all of the redundant pipework. It took a fair while.
Fitting the new cylinder was fairly straightforward, and the changes I have made to the pipework mean the hot water flow should be much improved.
I arrived home at the same time as my beautiful wife, which is highly unusual.
