Snake Bath

Schlangenbad is a tiny spa town and municipality in the Taunus hills. Its name literally means “snake bath”, and the artist who sculpted this fountain depicted exactly that.

The local mineral water flows from a spout on the left side of the stone, and I filled my bottle with it - on the way to a (very tedious) meeting which I had to attend in the place of my mother.
Almost five hours wasted.

If I could get only a quarter of the time back that I spend with her paperwork and bureaucracy, I could go on a long and happy holiday. But I won’t get it back, so I’d better stop moaning.

(And P cooked a delicious stir fry when I finally got home. That made up for some of it…)
