Battersea Power Station and Lift 109

Today I met up with three friends for lunch and then we went to Battersea Power Station to go up Lift 109(109 metres) It was a treat I had organised for one of them for her 60th Birthday rather than a present. The lift is in one of the four chimneys. You first go up an ordinary lift to 55 metres then up some steps to a second bigger circular lift which takes 20 people and has glass dudes and ceiling. I had been to the Power Station before but not up the lift. 

Great views from the top…see extra for the view over Chelsea Bridge..you can see Wembley in the distance!

We were lucky with the weather as it was raining this morning and again when I got home!
