Flower Friday

Three weeks ago I bought two bunches of red, orange and yellow roses to welcome P home for the weekend. The yellow ones were the first to drop their petals after a week, followed gradually by the orange ones.

Surprisingly the red roses are still looking good. Great value for money!

Unusual for a Friday, today I met Christina for lunch in The Clachan because she needed cheering up.. It was her first day back at work after the floods of last weekend because her car got stuck in a deep puddle on her way to work on Monday. While she'd been waiting to be rescued, she got a call to say that her elderly dad had been rushed to hospital and now she's heard that her car has been written off! Poor Christina!
