Langdale Pikes

A drive into the lakes to meet GG for coffee and a catch up.  It was pretty drizzly on the drive in but by the time I arrived at Chesters it had stopped.  Still pretty grey but improved as the morning wore on.

We put the world right and after a couple of coffees we went our separate ways.  I walked alongside the River Brathy (extra) to Elterwater, where I had a sandwich at Slates.  I can't remember the last time I visited the Langdale valley, probably not this year,  and it was lovely to be here this morning.
