Spring concert.

Hubby T and I went with our friends to a High School concert, where their granddaughter was playing in the jazz band for the last time - it is her final school year.  The concert featured all the music students in various bands, and we were amazed at the talent. The girl in the photo was brilliant on the trumpet.
S's mother is struggling to cope with the idea of her daughter going to university far from home  next year. I remember my tearful farewells every time my kids went back to Cape Town after their varsity holidays!!
