Deforestation

I know, forests are planted to grow conifers as a crop and when the time is right, the trees are felled. The gate has been locked for a few years due to it being unsafe to enter whilst the felling was going on.

I was delivering a memory stick of photos today and passed a place where we used to walk. This blip is taken from the corner of the car park. The path leading out from here was in the forest. 

One day The Man and I will come and take a walk up to the remaining trees to have a look at what is left. This was a great place for dog walkers and M-Sport rallying events.

Just a blip for a record. Let's see if it is replanted and has sizeable trees in my lifetime.
