A momentous day in a young mans life

We bought our nephew his first proper grown up bike yesterday in the hope it would spur him on to get cycling - a Raleigh hot rod with flames on the paint work !!! . He is not known for his determination or indeed any kind of balancing skills , the kind of boy that can trip over on flat ground.

He certainly showed us - after only 20 minutes he was peddling along quite happily unaided - he cannot turn or stop yet but today was a great start. He ran around the field whooping after his first solo run - bless him .

A day that me, him and granny will not forget .
