Enlightened

A trip to York Minster where our friends who are now Minster guides treated us to a tour of some of the highlights. Gail is especially keen on the stained glass and we came away with some fascinating insights and some improbable stories. Brilliant.
We topped it off with dinner at the cafe/restaurant in what was the choir school. Also brilliant.
A fabulous day. And for a treat just look for the monkeys in this tiny segment of one of the windows.
