Lady Slipper Vine

We visited "Yungaburra" about 80km North West of Tully on the Atherton Tablelands. I rate it as the friendliest town I have ever visited. It was mid-morning and everyone we passed in the street welcomed us and stopped to have a chat. In fact we got an invite to drinks that afternoon at a recently retired police officers house??? Having a 13 week old puppy with us probably helped break the ice ;-)  This "Lady Slipper" vine is one that we had never seen before. A local happily explained it to us. You tip up the yellow slipper and a sweet (medicinal) nectar flows into your mouth, or onto your clothes if you walk through it....
