Two Hundred and Twenty

Today Marian and I celebrated our twentieth anniversary and to celebrate we went to Gidleigh Park for lunch. It is a wonderful restaurant headed by Michael Caines and the food and service were faultless with a lovely atmosphere which enabled us to feel very much at ease. The meal was a present to Marian as Mother of the Bride at Frances and Frazer's wedding.

So, a wonderful day and just a shame that the weather was a little on the rainy side, so we just had a short walk around the grounds after lunch where this blip was taken. I suppose I should own up that the actual date of our anniversary was 1st May but with all the planning for weddings that's been happening this was the first opportunity to celebrate it.

It's my 200th blip and what a wonderful journey it's been. When drpeej, draco and I started in November whilst on an LPH workshop with John Gravett, I'm not sure any of us really thought we'd get to this stage with an uninterrupted series of blips.
