Tidying
We were out today on the road outside the parish church cleaning the pavement up from the village. We were out on a Thursday rather than Monday because we wanted to tidy things before Monday's funeral. Paul (known as Scappy because he was our village scrap merchant) died of a stroke on holiday in the Far East. He was a good, lovely man and will be greatly missed.
We had warning signs out and Edward acted as Bankman to protect us from some drivers who seemed completely unable to read the road and adjust their speed accordingly.
