On Manoeuvres

We needed to travel to York today to pick up a few items. The bulb on the car number plate needed replacing but when an attempt to change it was made it didn’t work and became apparent that a new lighting unit was required which Halfords did not stock. So we will need to track one down with the garage.

Having been more successful with other items we decided to call in at Strensall Common for a walk. It was a lovely afternoon to enjoy the area. It appeared that some army training on navigation was underway. Managed to catch one camouflaged soldier with map. Fortunately no one was carrying weapons just large rucksacks!
