Reading in the park

The old village has a lot of houses that have no garden. The answer is to walk down the road to the park. This is part of the village arboretum and has over a hundred varieties of trees, lakes and paths. There are always people down there, set up for the afternoon with a good book. I often join them.

It has mostly been a packing and sorting day. Summer has fully arrived just as we are leaving. I hope the UK weather forecast for the weekend is wrong - otherwise it could be a rude shock!
