Pre-interview power up

Joe had an interview today and the location was the hotel next to Edinburgh Zoo. The job is with someone else but they were doing the interviews there. It’s a bit of a sod to get to on public transport from our house so I drove him there. As we sailed around the bypass we got there half an hour early so sat in the hotel coffee shop and had a caffeine boost and a natter.

Then off he went to the fifth floor while I hunted for glimmers of positive news in the New Statesman.

Half an hour later he was out and felt quite positive with how it had gone.

Home for pizza night and to watch the last two episodes of The Rings of Power.
