Run!!!

It was the big athletic meet at Robin Park in Wigan today. We took our team of excited children. We are only a very small school and most of the other schools who attend are huge and have plenty of athletes to choose from so we never do brilliantly, but the kids give their all and have fun.

We actually got quite a few children through to the finals and one runner won and so he goes forward to the Nationals. I took loads of pics, but trying to get everyone and every event was virtually impossible. I feel like I've taken part as I've raced around the track going from long jump to ball throwing then baton passing to finishing line...then around again...and again.

The forecast was awful for today, but thank goodness they got it wrong. It actually stayed dry all day and the heavens only opened when we arrived back at school. It is great to put my feet up and relax now...only 240 pics to go through.
