Remember the banana dessert (that wasn't a real banana)

Remember the Desperate Dan Cow Pie that won the main course.

Both were the work of Tom Shepherd, Lichfield chef who has an amazing Michelin star restaurant.

Last March we managed to book a table for today and we had the marvellous Tasting menu.

Just brilliant.

Reservations for next September open next January. I'd better put a reminder in my diary.
