Autumn, in parts

Went up the allotment together (a rare event during the summer) - D mostly doing hedge clipping and compost shifting, me doing a bit of digging, hoeing and transplanting. I noticed that the Norway maple that I rescued from the gutter in the car park has decided that it's autumn, whereas its sibling which is living on the bedroom windowsill is still green.
