Time and Tide

 
A bit draughty.  All ferries out of Orkney cancelled and to the Northern Isles also.  The only two operating were the ones going to Hoy.  The Current Mrs Creel departed on the ten o’clock from the Stromness Pier.  She is inside the cabin of the boat just above Jean’s Hoose, on the left, and it’s Clestrain House on the right with the Hoy High lighthouse on Graemsay.  There is so much salt in the atmosphere it’s difficult to discern anything. 
 
Kippers in a glass.  Being a Wednesday, I Just opened a new bottle of Laphroaig Cask Strength – Batch 12.   CMC comes home and always asks why I’ve opened the TCP.  Emphatic, full bodied and utterly unforgettable.
