Up with the lark……

An early start for the airport and was watching a jostling flock of sparrows when noticed one with a crest among them.
It was a crested lark which haven’t seen for years. It’s a particularly sociable wee bird which rarely, if ever, grace our shores.
Extra, a few hours earlier in the wee small hours and not a soul larking around.
