Sad news

I have just read that a lad I went to school (primary and secondary) with in Newton Mearns (a suburb of Glasgow) called Bernard Cowan was one of the people murdered by Hamas in Israel on Saturday. 

I hadn’t seen Bernard since secondary school, but I remember him as being such a nice and kind lad. Even though I had not seen him for 40 years, it’s quite a shock. 

Though everything seems grim out there, let’s try and remember the good things out there too.
