Taking photos of cute birds

That's what the four year old suggested I do while I was waiting for my meal of chips and butter sauce at her garden cafe. Good to be able to play outside today though there was a cool wind. 

Earlier we'd been out to collect conkers, berries, nuts and other signs of autumn for her nursery project. We'll be going back on the train today and I hope to see the eight year old briefly. 

Cameraman has set off for a few days in Manchester. He's meeting his friend M. who has been at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool. I imagine he's feeling pretty buoyant. 

I'm not going to have much blipping time till much later.
