View from Widmouth Head

It was a foggy drive this morning to Watermouth Bay where a few of us from the photography landscape group were meeting.  As we arrived the sun broke through and we had some lovely sunny weather.  We parked in the harbour carpark amongst the yachts overwintering there.   There are some lovely locations around here and we spent time wandering and taking photos on the way to the lookout on the eastern side of the bay.

After lunch we climbed up to Widmouth Head where there is this delightful view looking into and across from Watermouth Bay.  By the time we had walked back down the sea was coming into the bay but there was no time for more photography as we all had a zoom landscapes (scapes) meeting this evening.  

An enjoyable outing and a very busy day.
